A great pattern that utilizes star blocks with pieced sashing to make a big impact.
This pattern has great instructions with clear and colored illustrations. Grab your fabric and piece together some 8-point star blocks with a cross center that is mimicked in the sashing. There are 4 size options - lap, double, queen and king, with instructions and fabric requirements for all.
The blocks making up the 8-point star is made using a Tri Recs tool or template. Creative Grids also has some Tri Recs tools, one is the 2-Peaks-in-1 Tool. The pattern also includes the triangle templates necessary to piece together these unique star point blocks.
